Returns and Refunds
Scriptures are not taken back — except when the fault is ours. Below are those three cases, and what happens in them.

As a rule, items are not taken back
This is a bookshop. Change of mind, finding it cheaper elsewhere, or simply not liking the book are not grounds for return — a returned book is no longer new. That is why page count, author, publisher and full details are given openly on every page, so everything is clear before you order.
There is one exception: when the fault is ours. In that case tell us within seven days of receiving the parcel —
- The item arrived broken, torn or damaged.
- Something other than what you ordered arrived.
- An item is missing from the parcel.
These three cases fall within the law's scope for returns as well (Consumer Protection E-Commerce Rules, 2020), and the shop does not refuse them.
One suggestion that helps a lot
Record a video while opening the parcel, showing everything in one take from sealed box to open. If something is wrong, this becomes the fastest route — nothing to prove, nothing to wait for.
How to tell us
Write to the email or WhatsApp below, and send: your order number, the item's name, and a photograph of what is wrong.
You will hear back within two working days — including whether the item needs to come back. Return shipping is paid by the shop, not by you.
When the money comes back
- Once a return is approved, the refund starts back along the same route the payment came.
- Reaching your bank usually takes five to seven working days — that time belongs to the bank, not the shop.
- Shipping is refunded too, provided the fault was on the shop's side.
Cancelling an order
An order can be cancelled before the parcel is dispatched — the full amount comes back. A dispatched parcel cannot be cancelled; once it arrives, the conditions above apply.
