What of yours reaches us, where it goes, and what you can do about it — all of it, without evasion.

What is collected

  • Your name, mobile number and full delivery address — to send the parcel.
  • Your email, if you give one — only to send order updates. It is optional.
  • Your order details — what you bought, for how much, when.
  • Your activity on the site — which scripture you viewed, what you added to the bag.

What never reaches us

Your card number, CVV, UPI PIN or net-banking password — none of these ever reach this shop. Payment happens on Razorpay's own secure page, and all we learn is whether the money arrived.

Who else receives it

Four outside services are used to run the shop. Each receives only what its job requires:

  • Razorpay — to take payment. They receive your name, phone and the amount.
  • Shiprocket — to send the parcel. They receive your name, phone and full address, so the courier can reach you.
  • Google Firebase — for sign-in and storage. Your account and orders live here.
  • Meta (Facebook/Instagram) — to measure advertising. Written out separately below, because it deserves explaining.

Apart from these, nothing about you is sold or given to anyone. Only a legal demand could require otherwise.

What Meta receives

This shop advertises on Facebook and Instagram. To know which advertisement actually works, some of your information reaches Meta — but it is transformed first.

Your email, phone, name, city, state and pincode are turned into a long number (SHA-256) from which the original cannot be recovered. Meta only compares it against numbers it already holds, to see whether this is the same person.

It should be said plainly: transforming it does not mean nothing was sent. It is sent precisely so it can be matched. What you bought and for how much goes along with it.

Cookies

  • To keep you signed in — without these you would have to sign in on every page.
  • To remember your bag and your chosen language and theme — these stay in your own browser.
  • Meta's — to join up the advertising figures. You can block these in your browser settings; the shop still works fully.

How long it is kept

Orders and invoices are kept for eight years — Indian tax law requires it. Your account and addresses stay as long as you want the account.

Your rights

You may ask what we hold about you, have it corrected, and ask for it to be deleted. Orders and invoices that the law requires us to keep cannot be deleted — everything else is.

Write to the email below. A reply will take no more than thirty days.

Children

This shop is not meant for anyone under eighteen, and no information about them is knowingly collected.
